"I wish to commend your facility for the fine care that I observed during my ten (10) days of visiting my brother. The dedication of ALL your employees is commendable. Everyone, and I mean everyone, seems to be working as a team and the obvious goal was the improvement of EVERY patient. I could feel the positive energy the minute I walked into the front door, and it was a pleasure to see such important work be accomplished. This is one of the finest resident therapy hospitals I have every seen."

"The food was varied and tasty. I especially enjoyed the Chinese Chicken salad. Thank you also for providing coffee or tea to all the visitors. The people who worked in this area seemed to enjoy their job and I liked the many choices of locations to eat."

"Housekeeping has a difficult and endless job, but I was impressed with the thoroughness and professional attitude of these workers. They too help to give the facility a positive aura and definitely a clean one."

"The supportive nursing staff, which I believe are called CNA’s, are great. They interact with everyone and their gentle touch, caring voice and strength help the patients maintain their dignity. They are the ones that really get to know the patients, families, visitors and friends. I saw them as hard workers and people who care for the patient, no matter how disable he or she was. They are tireless and dedicated workers."

"The Nursing staff I interacted with are certainly well trained, professional and approachable. My hundreds of questions were always answered and their obvious concern for EVERY patient was evident. I was impressed with the fact that they always explained a procedure to the patient and then thanked them (even though some patients obviously didn’t seem to comprehend). It is their caring attitude which impressed me. If I ever need to be in such a facility, Kentfield is where I want to be."

"The OT and PT (occupational and physical therapy) personnel are miracle workers who have a special calling. It is through their dedication and constant reinforcement of even the most simple tasks that the patient improves. I observed ALL improvements, no matter how simple, rewarded with a positive comment, and I am impressed with how easily they are able to move, reposition and help a patient stand. It is through their special effort, and everyone else’s in this facility that confidence is restored and lives are improved."

"I learned that Speech therapy is more that just speech reinforcement. I witnessed how these professionals are able to help a person regain communication skills which are so necessary. Since my brother was a non-talker, the therapy I saw really helped him communicate very simple things, but necessary skills for his survival. The patience these therapists have is commendable and it is no wonder they achieve such great results."

"The two doctors I personally spoke with were just marvelous. They showed personal concern for my brother and were helpful. I did observe other doctors coming and going from other rooms and they too seemed approachable, professional and dedicated. It is no wonder that there is a waiting list to come to Kentfield."

"I learned much in the ten days visiting my loved one in your Kentfield facility, and I will highly recommend it to everyone. There is no way I can list everyone that made my visit here memorable and positive. I felt welcomed and included in the rehabilitation of my brother while at Kentfield."
