provided physician leadership to this program for over 20
years. Dr. Doherty is a board certified Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation doctor (Physiatrist) who has specialized
in the care and management of traumatic and non-trauma related
brain injuries. Her team of highly skilled therapists, nurses
and consultants have consistently yielded exceptional outcomes
with even the most challenging cases.

Spinal Cord Injury
Under
the guidance of Alex Barchuk, MD, the Spinal Cord Injury
Program at Kentfield provides exceptional medical care
for patients with traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord
injuries. Dr. Barchuk is a board certified Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation physician (Physiatrist) with special
emphasis on the management of spinal cord injuries for the
past 20 years. The multidisciplinary team approach of Kentfield’s
programs provide the depth of expertise needed to achieve
superior outcomes.

- Neurologic diseases/disorders of the spinal cord
- Post-operative management of the spine

- High tertraplagic with ventilator support to cauda equina
