Fibromyalgia Clinic
Kentfield's Fibromyalgia Clinic provides evaluation and treatment for outpatients with the fibromyalgia syndrome. Our interdisciplinary team develops individual treatment plans with minimal reliance on medication.

Symptoms
Fibromyalgia can be difficult to diagnose. However, individuals with fibromyalgia experience many of these symptoms:

  • chronic muscle pain
  • muscle tender points
  • fatigue
  • headaches
  • insomina
  • irritable bowel syndrome
  • temporal mandibular joint pain
  • tingling
  • joint swelling
  • anxiety
  • stress
  • depression

Treatment
Our interdisciplinary program promotes physical and emotional well-being with minimal reliance on medication. The fibromyalgia clinic offers a continuum of options, including:

  • individually tailored treatment plans designed by physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists and psychologists
  • patient education to increase awareness of self-help skills, home programs and community resources
  • a fibromyalgia support group in association with the Arthritis Association
