Kentfield’s hand therapy program provides specialized outpatient services for patients with hand and upper extremity disorders. The Certified Hand Therapists provide comprehensive therapy services to those with:

  • Repetitive strain
  • Arthritis (including joint replacement)
  • Hand and wrist fracture
  • Traumatic and peripheral nerve injury
  • Neurological and peripheral nerve injury
  • Neurological dysfunction due to stroke or head injury
  • Complex regional pain syndrome
  • Thoracic outlet syndrome

The treatment includes but is not limited to:

  • Range of motion
  • Custom splinting
  • Muscle reeducation
  • Functional retraining
  • Flexibility and strength training
  • Myofascial and soft tissue release and self-release
  • Sensory re-education
  • Modalities
